LUXE: Reiss, Starling Black Shearling Aviator Jacket, £895

Reiss is a staple of the highstreet, but is still not as competitive as other retailers. Made from 100% Sheepskin and featuring details such as a fold down collar, zip detail and belt around the hem. This stunning jacket is a real treat for your wardrobe.

SAVVY: River Island, Black Leather Look Aviator Jacket, £85

This limited edition coat is bang on trend with it’s faux leather and fur trim, asymmetrical zip, oversized fit and buckle details. Only thing to watch is that it is an oversized fit, so if you are petite, like myself, you may look swapped wearing this coat.

LUXE: Karen Millen, Classic Trench Coat, £275

True to Karen Millen design, this trench coat is elegant, yet classic. Styled with a leather-buckle belt, contrasting buttons and storm-flaps for weather proofing. A true wardrobe staple that will see you through Autumn, Winter and into Spring!

SAVVY: ASOS, Petite Classic Trench Coat, £60

Don’t get me wrong, this trench possibly won’t cut it if snow arrives this year, but it is as it states, it is a classic. Easy to layer underneath and looks very chic teamed with jeans or a LBD.

As a petite lady myself, I have posted this beauty, as I think it is the perfect example of the classic trench, but a ‘normal’ sized trench can be found here.

 

LUXE: Barbour International, Katana Wax Parka Jacket £379

Barbour has been a British classic since 1936 and they haven’t failed to combine both classic, practical and modern chic in this years parka. This parka is wax coated meaning it is completely waterproof. The faux fur trim is also removable if you want to alter the look. It has 4 practical outer pockets and a waist clinching belt to make it still flattering to any figure.

SAVVY: F&F, Shower Resistant Parker with Faux Fur Hood, £45

This pocket friendly Parka from Florence & Fred at TESCO is shower resistant, with gold fastenings, faux fur hood and cosy faux fur lining to keep you warm and snug!

LUXE: Gloverall, Mid Length Slim Duffle Coat, £325

Traditional in its design, made with 80% wool, this coat is practical for both day and night. With deep pockets on the front and hood on the back, this Gloverall duffle coat is a slim fit to compliment your figure. Available in a variety of colours, but I like the red as a change.

SAVVY: M&S, Duffle Coat, £89

This Marks and Spencer Duffle Coat is also available in either red or black. It also has deep pockets on the front and a practical hood. Designed in a tailored fit, making it perfect for a cosy knit underneath on colder days.

LUXE: Ted Baker, Magnetic Claps Long Coat, £299

This long coat looks stunning slightly unwrapped and also folded across the chest to give a funnel neck design. The belt ensures the coat gives you shape and timeless style. It has two deep pockets on the front and is finished with a magnetic metal clasp on the neckline and on both ends of the belt. This is another coat that will serve you well for years, as is a timeless classic, that makes any outfit look instantly chic.

SAVVY: New Look, Black Belted Longline Coat, £39.99

If the Ted Baker Longline Coat is a stretching your budget a little too far, look no further than this beautiful version from New Look. The difference is obviously the price, but the gold finishings and that you can’t neatly have this coat in a funnel neck design. But that being said it still offers two deep pockets, and a very complimenting shape, thanks to the belt. New Look are also offering this coat in grey and brown if you don’t fancy the black.
